Multi-tasking has become a big part of our lives. Seems like we can't focus on one thing at a time. Even most employment want-ads require applicants to be good "multi-taskers".
According to several recent studies, multi-tasking is not only inefficient...it's also unhealthy,
Here are some reasons why:
1) It slows you down
2) You make more mistakes
3) It stresses you out
4) Your memory may suffer
5) It can make you overeat
6) It hurts your creativity
So, while many people wear "multi-tasking" as a badge of honor, maybe we'd all be better off trying to focus on one thing at a time...at least more often...and getting that one thing done?
