Paul Rodgers will release The Royal Sessions, an album of classic R&B and soul covers, on February 4th. You can now listen to a few snippets of the songs, which were made famous by Otis Redding, Albert King, Ann Peebles and others via a short behind-the-scenes video in which he talks about the music.
All proceeds from the album will be donated to Memphis-area music education programs.

Eric Clapton's final show of the year, which took place last Thursday in front of 15-hundred fans in Basel, Switzerland, was broadcast on Swiss radio and has been posted online (here).
It features a four-song tribute to his late friend, singer-songwriter J.J. Cale, including "Call Me the Breeze," which was made famous by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Clapton will be back on the road in February with dates in Japan, Singapore and the Middle East.
