So, the stripe trend is nothing new. Regardless of the fashion season or year, stripes will continuously make their appearance into the fashion world. This simple pattern has been spotted on the runway shows of Paul & Joe, Dolce & Gabbana, Marc Jacobs and of course the ever so preppy Ralph Lauren. One thing to keep in mind about stripes are, contrary to belief, everyone can wear them. HOW you wear them is where the problem arises. Curvier, full figured women should stick with vertical stripes while women with a small frame should wear horizontal to give a curvy allusion. Here were a few looks I thought would be good to incorporate in the everyday woman’s wardrobe. Click on any of the links to purchase the link!

The Pants

Trousers are always a good investment because they never go out of style. So why not go for a striped trouser pant? These high-waist striped trousers are from American Apparel and really make a statement. There are endless possibilities with this option. They are priced at a hefty $78, but sometimes you have to pay for quality!
The Shoe

If you’re not as big into the striped wardrobe as some are, there is always the option of sporting striped accessories. Instead of pants, try a shoe. Not into heels? Go for the flats. Printed accessories always add to an outfit. So try one of the above shoes or a variation. I’m sure you’ll get compliments! The flat is from Ann Taylor for $78 and the heel is Charlotte Russe priced at $35.50
The Purse

A striped purse is another way to stay trendy without going full throttle. A nice handbag is a good way to merge into seasonal fashions. If you have a little extra to spend the Kate Spade bag on the left is $298 while those on a budget might want to shoot for the ModCloth bag on the right for only $54
