Hello Dapper Dolls!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  I know everyone is preparing for the New Year by making resolutions.  I prefer to use the phrase “Life Style Transitions”.  I also feel that you shouldn’t put a lot of pressure on yourself to implement strenuous change in your life abruptly.  A Life Style Transition is a process.  Write down your personal and professional goals, and then develop your execution plan.

 

My 2013 Life Style Transition will be to incorporate fruit and veggie smoothies into my diet twice a day.  Now that may seem like an easy addition to my everyday life, but when you are frugal (health food can be so expensive) and struggle to do meal preparation in the evening and morning it proposes a challenge.

 

Since I have failed at incorporating a daily consumption of fruits and veggies into my diet, I have decided to start drinking smoothies in the morning and at lunch.  I am hoping to improve my overall health by adding this nutritious initiative to my routine.  I am currently researching smoothie recipes that will give me a good dose of vital nutrients each day.  Green smoothies are rich in antioxidants and help to clarify skin, increase focus, and enhance your immune system.
