Kimberlee and I had the pleasure of interviewing the very stylish Carol Toulas of Apricot Lane last Thursday, at the boutique's Grand Opening Celebration.  Carol and her husband George Toulas are the owners of Apricot Lane North Hills and plan to expand their business in the Triangle by opening stores in Cary and Durham by early 2013.  Great teams make a great business, that’s why George and Carol focus on getting the right people to be a part of their dream, “Our role is…to hire and inspire the best people.”

Everyone wants to look fabulous, however financial constraints can sometimes restrict our fashion needs, but Apricot Lane has all the styles you want and need at phenomenal prices!  “Apricot Lane is affordable, high style, right at the very moment fashions…” said Carol.  Carol informed us Apricot Lane receives its inventory straight from the LA Fashion District and new merchandise is added to the store every two weeks.  Apricot Lane carries brands Big Buddha, Miss Me, Casa Blanca, and a host of additional stylish labels.  Carol and George wanted their grand opening celebration and fashion show to display Apricot Lane’s dynamic inventory, “We’re hoping to show we have a wide variety of versatile looks.”

Apricot Lane truly represents the everyday woman, so it’s no surprise George and Carol chose, Brooke “Peanut Butter” Hoover of the G105’s the Showgram to endorse their business.  Carol stated Peanut Butter is young, hip, and fashionable.

My favorite look in the store was a multicolored teacup dress paired with a yellow sweater.

It reminded me of the tribal print dress Elle Varner wore in her video, “Only Wanna Give It To You”.

George and Carol have brought something spectacular to the Triangle.  Apricot Lane is truly your one stop shop for all the latest trends in apparel, accessories, and footwear, all
at affordable prices.  Visit Apricot Lane in North Hills today to vamp your fall closet or to do some early holiday shopping!
