Falcons suffered their first loss of the season, losing to the Saints 31-27. Atlanta TE Tony Gonzalez had two touchdowns in the loss and became the first tight end to catch 100 touchdown passes.

Neither St. Louis nor San Francisco could score in overtime, resulting in a 24-24 tie. It was the NFL’s first tie in four years. Both kickers missed field goals in the extra quarter.

Tampa Bay won their third straight game with a 34-24 win over San Diego.

Tennessee dominated Miami 37-3. The Titans capitalized off of four Miami turnovers.

Houston edged the Bears 13-6 in a defensive battle.

Steelers barely defeated Kansas City in overtime 16-13. Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger left the game early in the 3^rd quarter with a shoulder injury and did not return for the remainder of the game.
