John Fogerty is getting set the May 28th release of his album of duets, Wrote a Song for Everyone. In anticipation, he has posted a video on his website of him and Bob Seger reworking Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Who'll Stop the Rain." The album also features collaborations with the Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, Tom Morello, My Morning Jacket, Kid Rock, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Allen Toussaint and others.
A special edition of Monopoly inspired by The Beatles animated film Yellow Submarine goes on sale this month.
USAopoly, which creates custom versions of the legendary board game, will now extend the formula to Pepperland, with locations taken from the movie replacing the traditional Pennsylvania and Pacific Avenues, Marven Gardens and B&O Railroad. Now, the Beatles will battle the Blue Meanies through the Sea of Science, the Headlands, Nowhere Land, the Sea of Holes and more. And no need to worry about dogs and boots, the six tokens come from the imagination of animation: Yellow Submarine, Dreadful Flying Glove, Jeremy Hillary Boob, Love Sign, Sgt. Pepper Drum and Old Fred.
